Cool Projects
At Render, we're curious and like to use our imagination too. Here are some examples of when a client had a project in mind that was just too fun or too challenging to pass up.

This 2nd floor office space was used as storage, but turned out to be the perfect place for bunk beds. Our client wanted the bunk beds to appear as if they were floating, had been there for 30 years, and to match the existing paint color.

Our client wanted a cedar garden enclosure built from scratch that will stand the test of time and prevent animal intrusion. We worked together throughout the process, making changes along the way to suit her needs and wants. The open space inside provides many opportunities for gardening, while the two 12'x3.5' raised beds offer ease of use.
The Town of Grafton and Historic Society had been storing documents in the town vault for many years. The Historical Society was particularly interested in ensuring documents were properly preserved. We diligently researched options and worked with the town to come up with a solution that was eventually voted on and passed by the Town Board. We drilled through the vault's concrete ceiling to install the proper ducting for an energy recovery ventilator that will bring in fresh, conditioned air throughout the year while maintaining desired humidity. We worked with knowledgeable tradesmen to ensure that the system was wired to shut off in the event of a fire. Importantly, we included one year of maintenance on the system to be able to ensure the system works properly and our installation has the desired effect.
